The Cultural Academy Tarabya was initiated by the German parliament in 2011. It has an artist-in-residence program for artists of different scopes and it is dedicated to the idea of contributing to the German-Turkish cultural exchange, enabeling artistic encounters as well as cooperations. The residence in Tarabya may inspire the artists and may help them to make new contacts.
